The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes Standard Edition - Nintendo 3DS

Don't get me wrong the game is excellent to play and lives up to the Zelda tradition. The only thing though that I don't like is that the game is designed to be played with multiple people, not really for single player like most traditional Zelda games. The game itself has amazing graphics and a decent single player game mode and the graphics are exactly like The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds so there's no having to used to a different look. It's a good game but I give it a 3 out of 5 due to having a heavy multiplayer influence.

I bought 3 copies of this to play with my brother and sister. We each have our own 3ds to play. You can play with one copy through download play if together but now we can play even when were at different places. It is a great game and we have a lot of fun.

This game is pretty cute and amusing, combat is good, nifty hidden homages to previous Zelda games(hit the pillars while waiting for people to join your lobby). Puzzle are pretty good, works well single player wise too. Gathering materials for new costumes is rewarding. Versus mode is really fun, also challenging and rewarding. Really good game and very fun.

Best Buy is a great store to get all video games for every one

The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes has to be one of the most disappointing Zelda games in the entire series. The story completely falls out of line with anything Zelda and does not even seem like it would be in a Zelda game. There wasn't much of anything interesting in the story, and it seems like something a 6 or 7 year old girl would be interested in, as it focuses on a fashion obsessed land with a princess who was cursed to wear an ugly brown bodysuit. It was just some cheap excuse for the developers to put costumes in the game. The gameplay itself isn't that much better either, unless maybe if you're playing locally. The dungeons in Triforce Heroes are designed for three players and must be played with three players, so in order to play the game, you have three options: play locally with 2 other friends, play online with 2 random people, or play by yourself with 2 dummies. Playing by yourself with the dummies just doesn't work well and controlling them is a huge pain. It's nothing like how you'd control the Links in Four Swords, and if it were like Four Swords in terms of control, it would make the game so much better to play by yourself. Playing online can be fun, depending on who you get and how well the Internet works. Sometimes, you get stuck with people who don't cooperate well and would prefer to just do things like throw other people on the team off cliffs, and even though, you can communicate with others using icons that you tap on the bottom screen, it's not that great of a way to communicate in some circumstances. At other times, the Internet connection may not be that good, and the game might lag like crazy online. I haven't tried playing the game locally because I don't have two other people to play it with, but i'd imagine it would be way more fun with two friends next to you. A key component that is found in the gameplay is the ability for you and your party to wear costumes which give you different abilities, but to be honest, they don't really change up the gameplay that much. It just seems like a way to justify having three Links rather than one since certain abilities can only be done with certain costumes now. Graphically, the game looks like A Link Between Worlds, which I think was a good choice since ALBW looked really nice. In my opinion, the music isn't that great, though, especially when compared to other Zelda games. Overall, Triforce Heroes is just a lackluster, disappointing Zelda title that really is not worth purchasing. The story is terrible, the gameplay isn't that good unless you have friends locally, and the new costume aspect just isn't that appealing. You'd be better off spending your money on a different game or on a real Zelda game, like A Link Between World or Majora's Mask 3D.
