About this item
You're excited to buy a beautiful TV screen for your home — now, make sure to protect it. Geek Squad® Protection enhances your manufacturer warranty and gives you extended coverage when the warranty ends.
Geek Squad Protection often covers important repairs that your manufacturer warranty doesn't (like failure due to a power surge).
If something goes wrong after the manufacturer warranty ends, rest easy; you won't be stuck with a huge repair bill. Geek Squad Protection has your back and will take care of any covered repairs.
We make house calls for TVs 42" and larger.
No need to lug your screen into a store. If your TV is 42" or larger, we'll come to your home to repair your issue. If we originally installed your TV, we'll also uninstall and reinstall it.
If there's a failure from normal wear and tear, we'll repair it.
This could be a problem with an internal part, or how the product was manufactured. It could also be caused by dust, internal heat or humidity. Accidental damage is not included.
If your screen has bad pixels or a shadow image, we'll correct it.
If you have at least three pixels that are always the same color or a ghost image that won't go away, we'll get your picture looking like new.
If your TV won’t turn on because of a power surge, we'll fix it.
If there's a power surge or fluctuation that damages your product, we'll make things right. This includes a surge caused by a lightning strike.
If the remote that came with your TV stops working, we'll replace it.
Get a one-time replacement for the remote control that was included in your original TV box.
We'll recalibrate your TV in your home.
If we originally calibrated your TV, we'll recalibrate it after any needed repairs.
You'll never pay for parts and labor.
We take care of 100% of the costs of parts and labor for covered repairs, with no hidden fees.

- A: AnswerI'm pretty sure they will but I wouldn't explain to them what happened. Just tell them something is wrong with your T.V and that's it.

- A: AnswerYou are actually purchasing a 5 year warranty that overlaps with the manufacturer warranty. Your 5 year warranty will most likely end 5 years from the purchase date of your tv. The big trick and heist is the way warranty companies use the word "extended". You and I would assume that after the manufacturer warranty runs out, you will have an extension of 5 years. The fine print will tell you that this isn't true. The word "extended" can also mean that you are extended more coverage for a period of 5 years, with an overlap of coverage during the original manufacturer's warranty.

- A: AnswerI was in your same situation. When I bought it i asked for the accidental plan. When i called to ask about replacement they said what i bought was just basically an extended warranty. Sorry you were misguided as well.

Geek Squad Saves the Day!
|I recently had an issue with the TV I had purchased last year the required me to contact the Geek Squad to schedule an in home diagnostic appointment. Not only were the men who came out here were professional but they were extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and just a delight to deal with but when they determined that the TV had basically died they were also more than competent when aiding in the process of obtaining a new one and coming back again to deliver, remove the old set and installing a brand new set that works even better than our previous set. They made the entire process as smooth, painless, and stress free far beyond than I have ever experienced before.

Great tv with serious chipset flaws
|Tv is excellent in almost every regard EXCEPT that is does not do 4k120 with dolby vision without reducing the vertical resolution and it can NOT send lpcm audio through the earc port meaning no proper surround sound from any gaming system, even the nintendo switch. Only way is to route your system to a reciever 1st and then to the tv but if youre using a reciever without hdmi 2.1 and a ps5/xsx you will lose image quality and not be able to handle 4k120 or perhaps even 4k60hdr. The picture i attached shows the digital audio out setting that has to constantly be messed with the even get sound to play.

Geek squad so they don’t cover a warranty on a cra
|The TV was working perfect but then it go cracked screen but I wish the product was still working because it had a good picture and still under warranty through the geek squad, but they won’t fix a cracked screen so as far as the TV it’s great as far as the warranty you buy for the geek squad it’s not right when you buy the extended warranty thing to get told it’s 100% warranty is what when it’s not they said cracked screen they didn’t cover then why would you even want to buy the warranty to the GEEK SQUAD, if it doesn’t cover a cracked screen
