U never know what kind of handling ur equipment had before it reached the store that sold it to u. Trust me. I worked for a courier service for many years and the way some of the packages were tossed and dropped... U NEED protection. Relying on the manufacturing protection alone is foolish. I've been usong best buys gsp for years and I've haven't been let down yet.

This was a replacement from our previous Panasonic Microwave. Although that model was discontinued, this is its successor. It is solid, well made, cooks accurately and is easy and straightforward to program. It fits our dimensions perfectly and has all the features we need and some that will be fun to try

Ordinally, we decline protection on some products; however, it is our experience that protection plans at Best Buy have been an answer for us, especially when living on social security and limited funds. With other issues with our newest product, (not from Best Buy) we didn't hesitate.
