Amazing sound, tiny package, great battery life!
||Posted .After listening to the Bose Soundlink II i was sure i wanted one, but when I put the Soundlink mini next to it and used the same music off the same device then the decision was easy. The Mini in my opinion had better sound, I also love the small form factor. As with all Bose products the sound is just amazing and it's actually hard to believe it until you hear it. The sound is balanced from Mozart to the Dead Kennedy's the small form factor reproduces the sound at the highest level. I was amazed at the battery life, i get way more than 8 hours on average to loud settings. The charging base is a nice addition and makes recharging every night easy. One thing that was a plus for me was the smaller size then the bigger soundlinks. All aluminum case makes for a beefy weight on the mini, and it gives it a nice look sitting next to my mac mini on my desk. I highly recommend the mini!

Deep bass, small size
||Posted .Prior to get this speaker, I read a lot of reviews. Then bought it online, thinking that I should be aware that the sound described by others couldn't be as good as they said, for a matter of size. I was surprised when I played a Jamiroquai deep-bass song. Believe me, it won't fill a living room, but it's an awesome producto to enjoy music on a counter or table among friends.

Sound Protection!
||Posted .Purchased a cover for my new Bose Mini Soundlink Speaker. Great Quality - great product. Tight fit which makes it a little hard to install but just follow the included instructions. Once it is on, it works great. Really looks good and I feel like my speaker is well protected in case something bad should happen. Highly recommend!

Fantastic sound
||Posted .I needed a blue tooth speaker to take on the front porch, got a Sony boom box for the summer. You can't beat this, it is amazing to hear the deep bass along with the balanced mid range and high notes. I take it to work and am able to play it low and it delivers excellent sound as well. No regrets!

Q: QuestionCan Sound Link Mini speaker be connected to AC power source all the time without damaging the battery?
Asked by DK.
- A:Answer The Bose Soundlink Mini has a lithium Ion battery. Lithium Ion batteries have been shown to lose capacity if constantly charged. On the flipside, completely discharging them for an extended period of time will also diminish their capacity. They are much more durable to the older NiMH and NiCd batteries as they do not suffer from "memory effect". The Bose Soundlink Mini has a multi-colored power indicator. Flashing yellow means charging. Green is a charge of 70%-100%. Solid yellow is 20%-70%. Red indicates 20% or below. Ideally you will want to keep the charge between 20%-100%. I would recommend charging it full then using it wireless. Once it hits yellow, use it for a few more hours wireless while still yellow then charge it fully. This should maximize battery life. Luckily for you. Bose made this speaker with a replaceable battery while virtually all other Bluetooth speakers have an un-serviceable battery.

Q: QuestionIs there a way to power this with AC to avoid using the Li-ion battery?I like the portability of this device, but would also like to use it as a stationary computer speaker which would mean I'd have it powered on most hours of the day. To avoid straining the battery, is there an option to plug it in directly to an outlet? If turned on while sitting on the dock, does it use the battery or the incoming current from the AC?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer When connected to an outlet our SoundLink Mini speaker does not receive its power from the battery, only from the A/C current. The system comes packaged with a wall charger. Thanks!
