Excellent ARGB and fan controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Very satisfied with purchase. Does exactly what it says it does. iCUE is the best mainstream RGB software available and the Commander Pro offers 2 lighting channels, 6 fan connectors, 4 temperature sensors (included), and 2 usb header ports. Plus if you need additional lighting channels, it's expandable through the lighting node or RGB fan controller. Feels solid, not nearly as flimsy as other lighting controllers I've seen. Overall, well done product. If you're interested in adding argb lighting to your machine, this is the best and easiest way to do it.

Why are you looking at reviews if you're this far
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Let's be honest, if you are looking at this item then you are 100+ dollars into your pc. Corsair items are not cheap, and this item is one that you need if you are going to multiple lighting applications, all due to the lack of USB header locations on all motherboards. I have two Corsair NODE Pros and a set of lighting strips (3 strips). This allows me to connect them all to the Commander Pro, and the CP to the motherboard header. This is an item you don't need for basic lighting and cooling but great for future-proofing. As for me, I didn't need this item, but it's great for the future. Would I recommend it to someone?? Only if they really needed it for their setup, and if not then its a no-brainer.

Great for up to 6 fans and 2 rgb controllers
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Did exactly what I needed, gave power to my fans and control the rgb lightning node. I have 8 fans total, 2 of which are controlled by the aio, so that left exactly 6 which this unit handles. Made for a pretty easy build. Still a lot of wires and such, but that's the downside of rgb. Now I can use icue to control everything in my build. I don't have a picture of the back, but I used the 3m tape and secured it on a flat side in the back.

Corsair commander pro
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. What was I missing I've had 3 corsair HD and 3 EK vardar fans it can control them all I decided to get this to do a little upgrade to my 5 year old water cooled pc and I've decided 3 more HD 120 corsair fans and the commander pro would do the job and it did just that and more then I expected at that Worth buying and not worth how long I waited to pull the trigger I should bought this long time ago

Best Investment!!!
||Posted .This is a great investment especially if you have a lot of Corsair in your build! Has temperature probes, fan controls as well as two usb hook ups on it! I have 6 fans, 4 RGB light strips, fan RGB splitter as well as AIO hooked into it. Handles everything perfectly!! Best investment hands down!!!

Awesome product! Great store!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I got this but realized before I opened the box it was overkill for me on my current system... But the other corsair stuff rocks the boat! It's the bomb! I returned this "unopened"... But I have another PC with the exact giddie up! Got it back in 2019 and going strong still. This build just needs the lighting node pro - which I have already! YES! This product is the cat's meow! Just didn't need "2" ;)

Needed for 5 fans plus
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. In my new build I wanted 6 fans and my Motherboard only had 4 fan headers. So I had to get this to power my extra fans. This itself will handle up to six fans but I only needed it for the extra 2 I didn’t have fan headers for. It’s expensive for what it is but Corsair stuff isn’t cheap. It works well and isn’t that complicated to install.

Great device for large fan amount
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I got this because im currently building a pc desk case and im placing 6 fans throughout the outskirts of the case. It sold me when i read it also comes with temp stips. Which i could also very much benefit off of with my new desk. I havnt had led stips yet.. and for the price, frankly the commander should have come with 1 or 2... but overall, exactly what im looking for with my new setup. Im syked to see the result.

Q: QuestionIs the commander pro compatible with non-corsair fans as long as they stay within the power limits?
Asked by riverslq.
- A:Answer Yes, you can connect non-Corsair fans to the Commander Pro as it is a 6 fan, 4 pin PWM controller; however, RGB control is proprietary and you will not be able to control that.

Q: QuestionLooking for the most efficient setup of the following Corsair LED gear: 3 QL fans 2 LL fans Hi100 platinum cooler Can you provide guidance on how this Comm. Pro, the Node Pro (provides with LL fans) and Node Core (QL fans) would work together?
Asked by ShumaniTotonka.
- A:Answer As a fan controller, all of the fans (fan cable) are plugged into this. The led cables on your fans goes into the node core and then the node core gets plugged into one of the 2 led slots on this. You wouldn’t need the node pro because this actually does the same thing. Especially since you only have 5 fans. The cooler can be plugged into one of the USB ports on this as well.

Q: QuestionI'm using the Corsair 465X case. I'm going to install the H100i RGB platinum and swap its fans for the ll series fans giving me 6 ll series fans total. Will i need the commander pro for this or can i use just the lighting node that comes with the case?
Asked by FirstTimeBuilder.
- A:Answer If you are using the Lighting Node Pro (which I assume you are as the Lighting Node Core is for a different set of fans) then it will handle up to 12 fans (for RGB lighting purposes only). The preferred method would be to connect these two fans to the pump as it is a unit. The pump on this water cooler has connections for the two fans PWM connections and the RGB lighting connections. A USB connection is required for the pump and lighting control. If you don't have an available USB header on your motherboard then you will need to go to the Lighting node commander pro which will give you two USB ports as well and would replace your Lighting Node Pro. Using the Corsair iCue software will let you control all of the water cooler functions as a unit so that as the pump speed increase the fan speeds would be managed within those fan speed curves that are designed for that pump. Hope this helps

Q: QuestionI bought the 220t Corsair Atx case and it came with lightning node core and 3rgb fans. I can only connect one fan to my motherboard, so two fans light up but don't spin. If I buy Commander PRO will it be able to control the fan speed of 3pin fans?
Asked by Frank.
- A:Answer Yes. The Commander Pro requires 1x USB-2 Header from the computer's mainboard, and 1 SATA-style power connector from your power supply. In return, it supplies: 2x Lighting channels (just like the Lighting Node Pro that came with the case) 2x USB-2 Headers 6x 4-pin PWN Fan power connectors (works fine with 3-pin fans) 4x 10K 2-pin Temperature Probe ports for optional temp probes (comes with 4 probes) The iCue software will allow you to set custom fan curves on each fan (or group them as you like) based on the CPU core temp, the GPU core temp, temp readings from the mainboard itself, or from any of the 4 optional temp probes that can be directly attached to the Commander Pro itself. Your existing Lighting Node Pro can either be removed entirely (since the Commander Pro also has 2 lighting channels), or you can plug it into one of the USB-2 Headers on the Commander Pro to give yourself a total of 4 Corsair lighting channels. I personally use these in 3 of my 4 liquid-cooled rigs. Highly recommended, and unlike a lot of Corsair products, it works very well and for years on end.

Q: QuestionI only have 1 case fan header, will this act as a splitter so I can use my three fans? I have 3 LL120 RGB's with a fan hub and node pro.
Asked by Josh.
- A:Answer You can plug the fans power cables directly into the commander pro for power.
