I was looking for at least a 50-pack CDR-R spindle and came across these in a pinch. Never used them before or even heard of the brand for that matter, but at $5.99 how could I go wrong? Funny thing when I went to two locations and asked about the item’s location neither employee in the department knew what CDR’s were!! Eventually I was able to purchase and give them a try. I usually copy CD’s at 192K-24Bit rate and with some brands (even Sony/Memorex/Philips) occasionally I have to refresh or the files won’t burn to disc. But so far these have been super-reliable, fast, and bit-perfect reproduction. Winner!

I purchased x 3 - 50 pack's of the Dynex 52x CD-R, as I ran out of "old faithful" (Verbatim) and for under $20 (for 150 CD-R's), I am glad I found these during a "Deal of the Day". I collect (and collect and collect) live concerts and blank CD-R's are a mainstay in my repertoire, I would guess that I have over 10,000 CD-R live recordings from various bands; mostly on Verbatim and the old Sony 52x CD-R Audio discs (that I cannot find any more); these stand up to those, so far and I wouldn't have a problem recommending them to you guys/gals, if in the market for a reliable alternative to your CD-R of choice. That said, I will be purchasing the Dynex Brand, again, if The Price is Right.

I've used these blank CDs numerous times in great volumes. Great option for backing up music files as I have most of my LPs recorded into my iTunes systems through a 3TB external hard drive enabling me to have the digital back up on CD and archiving/preserving original vinyls. The price is great for the amount of cc's. Occasionally I have run across the "rogue" cd that does not read/register as a blank/recordable cd. I have had no problems with labeling (non data side) discs with sharpies and printed format labels work fine but sometimes can get suck upon ejecting from player/recorder. Now, I am no proclaimed super audiophile, but really haven't heard difference between these and higher priced blank cc's.

I purchased 2 packs of these a while back when they were on sale. At first, they seemed pretty good. Blew through a pack with no problems. Then I went on to the second pack and they do not work at all! None of my computers will even recognize them half the time and when they do, I burn some music on them but the CD doesn't work on any CD players. To top it off, all of the CD's I burned with these previously, won't even play anymore! Steer clear of these, I payed about $20 for 100 coasters! Pay a few extra bucks for a decent name brand

Brand new so should be excellent. Real test is can your PC (not stereo cd or tv dvd player) read it 1week, 6 months, 2yrs later. Most CDs & DVDs have a High failure rate after about 2yrs. 35 to 40% of my Memorex DVD are not readable & 65% bad Memorex RITEK. The ink fades because thedisk is only one side plastic instead of sandwich. Also the edges need to be clean & even. For the price these are worth it.

I have purchased Dynex (Best Buy Brand) product before and they offer great quality with much much lower price. While I agree that there is a huge competition with Name Brand that offer similar product with more than double the price, it is certainly worth it to go with Dynex. I mean, remember Sears with Kenmore and so on. The Store Brand are very much made with pride and attract customers with lower price without sacrificing quality and durability. I consider myself a picky BUYER and I support the balance in Quality and Price - would not buy generic if quality was the issue. Go Dynex !

I bought these because of the sale price and I would probably do it again but 2 out of 10 Cd's so far failed to burn and I didn't have that problem with some of the other brands I have used. The error was that my drive didn't support that type of media. Never had that happen before. It could be my drive but I doubt it. I WOULD buy them again if they are ever at the sale price I paid for them.

The price was significantly lower than other brands, which reflects in the quality. Had no problems recording music and listening in my car initially, however, once I removed the CD from the CD player and tried to listen to it again, the CD player displayed "BAD DISC" and rejected the CD. After several attempts my CD player finally played the CD. This happened with several CD's I recorded. I will not buy this brand again.
