Q: What does the Gas Range Installation service include?

A: The Gas Range Installation service includes installation of the range, connection to a functional gas shutoff valve and electrical source, connection to the shutoff valve with a new gas connector kit (purchased separately), connection to an existing electrical outlet, installation of an anti-tip bracket, leveling and testing of the unit, and a customer demonstration.

Q: What if my gas shutoff valve needs replacement during the Gas Range Installation?

A: Valve replacement is not included in the standard installation service and may result in a drop-off only appointment if the valve is corroded or not code-compliant.

Q: Is a new gas connector kit included in the Gas Range Installation service?

A: No, the gas connector kit is not included in the installation service and needs to be purchased separately.

A: Bought a new Gas line as recommended it was yellow, installers didn’t use it and didn’t leave it with us and the gas line was not tightened up properly. :(

Q: Non Regulated? Does this mean best buy installers are non-certified/licensed to install or work with gas lines? I've seen reviews where leaks were present.

A: No. It means that they are installing for a standard gas line as opposed to one that requires the additional installation of a flow regulator such as with liquid propane.

Q: What if my shutoff valve is below the range and in my basement ceiling?

A: They will not go into a basement.
