Geek Squad® - Furniture Assembly

Had Geek Squad come out to assemble a TV stand for my mother...the guy basically tightened 3 bolts and put the stand in the corner and plopped the tv on top and that was that. Never touched any of the components that were on the old stand and hooked them to the television, or even put the new stand where the old stand was. Next time i'll save my roughly $200 and use it to get a wrench.

Tried to get my 85 yr old Father a TV and Stand set up and delivered long distance (I am in CA, He is PA) using online and Sales person on the phone was able to get everything set up and rolling (so I thought). TV stand was delivered directly to his house three days before the TV, he had to get outside help to get the box into his apartment. I contacted both 1-888 number and store to try to schedule assembly time- Final outcome was told that would be done when TV was delivered. TV came three days later, delivery man asked where was the stand, my poor father stated it was in the box over in the corner and he told him assembly was paid for and that we were told it would be done with TV delivery. Delivery man stated “Who ever told you that did not know what they were talking about” My poor Father had to get Friend in his Apartment Complex to assembly the stand before the Delivery man would hook up the TV. I did call the store back to complain and talked to the same gentleman; he did refund our Geek Squad Payment and stated that it should have been assembled in the store…REALLY when it got delivered directly to his house and not the store. Everyone I talked to I stated that my Father was elderly and even a World War II Veteran and that I wanted everything to go smoothly. Sorry Dad

The agent was prompt and assembly took longer than expected but he did not complain. Hooked all components and attached free floating tv. Explained everything as well. Overall experience was good.

Arrived as expected, which was approx 1 hr before a new 55" TV was scheduled for delivery, & quickly assembled the TV stand in a very capable , friendly & professional manner.

The Bush-Citizen Executive L-Desk is very sturdy and it looks and feels great! Perfect desk to have in any home office.
