A: The answer is power. An 80-volt 2-amp battery will put out approximately 160 watts. A 40-volt equivalent will put out about 80 watts. That's the difference between plowing easily through a heavy drift and stalling out when it gets too heavy.

Q: How well does it operate on gravel driveway?
A: As long as you don't try to get down to bare surface, you should be fine. You don't want to be throwing gravel around with any snow blower.
Q: Is the Pro 80V self propelled ?
A: No, the Pro 80V is not self-propelled, it's very light weight, so in deep snow, you may have to do some surface skimming first.
