Ok, this player has many functions that you might expect on most mp3 players that are good quality. (Voice Recorder, video, music, fm radio, sd slot). But it has the look and the feel of a higher end player. The screen looks awesome and is pretty bright. The back and edges of the player, are covered with a rubberized kind of case that makes it feel sturdy in your hand. It's light, yet sturdy. The weight lies somewhere between a really solid feeling device like the zune HD, and a cheap run of the mill mp3 player. Overall it feels light but solid at the same time. Ok also, it was never ended to be touch screen, the buttons are on the back, which is a unique feature. Like a lot of "pretty" mp3 players, the battery life ins't stellar, but it looks fantastic and I wouldn't let the battery life turn you off, it's a great little player In the end: If your looking some solid mp3 player functions but with the screen and feel of a higher end, (and very expensive mp3 player) get this one. It costs about 1/4 of the price of an ipod and 1/3 of the price of a zune hd, but more than your average mp3 player. this thing is a very good value. I carry it with me everywhere.
