These are great little devices. Sound is quite good from something so small. Even the bass is pretty good. Connected easily to iPhone and iPad. Very portable and easy to store. Excellent purchase.

My wife and I decided to buy this JBL FLIP after we heard its performance over a friend's house. We actually decided not to buy it prior our cruise and that was a huge mistake. Instead we bought a cheap $10 speaker that got the job done but didnt provide the sound we were looking for. We recently took the FLIP on a cabin trip and used it while bbqing, in the hot tub, and as entertainment while playing cards. Bottom line everyone at the cabin said they were going to buy one! Im not sure if JBL makes a larger portable speaker but if/when they do we will definitely purchase it.

A friend has the Bose and I fell in love with it but didn't want to spend the money. With the help of great staff and listening to the JBL I decided it was the best fit for me. It has great sound and the price was right. I really love this little gadget!!

The Flip is very small but has excelent sound for its size. It paired easily with both my Vizio soundbar and my IPhone 5. I have not gotten 5 hours on a single charge but 3 plus hours is standard. Also it's surprising how much volume it produces without any real distortIon.
