With the large sub-woofer and dynamic range, I have not been disappointed in any music I have listened to so far. Sinatra, Green Day, Foo Fighters and even Chicago the movie soundtrack sound deep rich and full. If you have been turned off by the lack of range on these smaller systems which usually run in the 4-10 watt region, this 50 watts will blow your socks off. As most people have said though, it is a little heavier than the other systems but you cannot get that sound without the sub-woofer. The only glitch I have is when I use my Iphone for music. For some reason, I have to cycle the power switch once in order for the system to properly detect it. I do not have this problem with my son's I pod or my wife's I touch, they dock the fist time every time.

Great Sound for a Low Price

With its relatively small size you wouldn't expect it. For the $50 I paid for it in the outlet it is an incredible deal, probably worthy of 5 stars instead of the 4 I gave it. The small remote has all of the tuning, EQ, radio, clock, playback, etc. so if you want to change things be sure to keep track of it. The tuning for radio stations is a goes a little slow, but since I will be using it mainly for iPod playback this will also not be a big deal for me. Bottom line: If you're looking for something substantial instead of a slightly smaller dock for your iPod, you can't go wrong with this. The sound is great and the price is unbeatable.

Good value, nice sound and features

It's okay
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my 11 year old and he was able to get it set up in his room, but the sound quality is not very good and it doesn't charge his i-pod while it's docked. I think we will take it back and find something that sounds better.
