I love this thing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, I had to lower my expectations with this TV even after trying it out at a friend's place and playing with another friend's Samsung QDOLED TV because it is an older model. However the past few weeks I have to say I'm am glad to say I have very little circumstantial problems that I have with this TV. It may not be as bright as the C2 or the S95B, but it gets the job done. Movies are amazing in 4K, Most of the games I have the pleasure of experiencing on this run great with both my 3080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA GAMING and STRIX 3090 GAMING OC, and just everything about this TV is stellar. One game I did have a problem going from 1440p to 4K is MH:R mainly because some textures were just white in game but verifying my files in Stream have helped resolved this issue. I don't think I could ever go back to playing games or consuming media on a regular LED TV or monitor. The only benefits of being a C2 that is there is a 42" version of it that would work much better as a computer monitor and that it is brighter but it's definitely not a noticable to the average consumer and I now play from my bed which makes this TV a delightful experience to have. I'd definitely pick this up and give this TV a good 6-8 years or even a full decade before making a circumstantial display upgrade. You won't regret it.

Once you go OLED you can’t go back.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I primarily use the C2 as a gaming tv/monitor with my PC and PS5. I previously used the Sony X900H 65” as my gaming TV but now that we moved I needed a smaller TV. Comparing the C2 with the 900H is like night and day. Big difference in picture quality. It’s the perfect monitor for my 3090 build. Cyberpunk looked so good! I can’t recommend the LG oleds enough.

Finally Upgrading? Gamer? Enjoy Movies?
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Back in July 2022 I finally ditched my Samsung LCD, and got the 48" LG C1. There was a sale running at the time, plus I was able to purchase an open box, I ended up only paying $757.89! Before purchasing I did thorough research as I always do, especially with high ticket items. Nonetheless this TV lives up to the hype. It being a "Smart TV" once you connect it to the internet you can access LG's appstore, project your phone and computer, stream movies through streaming services. If you're a gamer, it also features a game mode which allows for variable refresh rate up to 120hz, and it also supports gsync. It doesn't have any display ports, but it does have 4 HDMI ports that make up for it. Both Video and Audio have many modes to choose from so you can pick your desired video and sound and also customize them, but its best left as is in my opinion. If you're thinking about purchasing this do yourself a favor and hesitate no longer. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing TV!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has surprised me in a great way. The OLED screen is amazing! One thing is for sure once you own a OLED tv you will quickly notice the difference and nothing else can compare to the quality of picture that is displayed. I hadn’t decided on purchasing a sound bar but once the TV was installed I started watching movies on it I quickly realized the speakers in the tv are great more than great I don’t feel the need to purchase a sound system. But if you want the BEST tv experience I do recommend buying one but it’s not exactly necessary. The tv is in a small room so for me the sound is good for the space. The tv was purchased for my son who games on PS5 & Xbox and he’s amazed by the tv performance compared to his gaming monitor. After doing more research it is highly recommended for gaming purposes. It’s a great TV i have no regrets and I plan on buying the newer version “C2” for my own bed, thats how happy I am with the tv.

So worth the wait!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing! I was worried 48” would be too small but it’s perfect for my space. Been saving up ever since my son broke my 55” TCL Roku TV with a wii remote. So glad I decided to spend the extra money for a quality tv this time around. Tested a few of my series X games they all look great. Haven’t hooked it up to my pc with a 3070 yet but I’m sure it will work flawlessly. The speakers sound like you have a sound bar and a small woofer. It’s plenty loud for my 10’x10’ room.

BLOWN AWAY
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ill Start off by sayin its simply a beautiful picture. Its my first OLED Tv and im absolutely blown away. The only thing that i didnt like is that it took so long to go onsalebon BestBuy.com other than that the gaming features are the best on the market. Watchinh TV has been a gift and Movies are spectacular. Figuring out all the settings took some time to get used too but if you wanna figure it out and spend some time with it, it gets easier as you go. And the one surprise thing is a lot of people said this Tv wasnt very bright? But to me its incredibly bright. Overall rating id have to give it a 9.7/10

LG C1 OLED is the Xbox and PC gaming TV of deams!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.AMAZING GAMING AND MEDIA TV!!! First off, if you haven't experienced an OLED for gaming at 120hz on XBOX, or for PC gaming with max details turned all the way up, you seriously don't know what you are missing. I have a Sony - 85" Class X85J Series LED 4K UHD Smart Google TV that does 120hz and full 4K... and though it's a great picture, for long gaming sessions I prefer my LG 48" C1 OLED. You just can't beat the visuals. And, the C1 will do Dolby ATMOS and Vision natively in games, movies and media all at 120hz. Glass smooth and the colors and picture are just amazing.

Q: QuestionIs the C1 still susceptible to burn-in over time if the brightness if low and the content has hasn't been changed much (e.i: playing one game for a couple of hours or as pc monitor)?
Asked by Derek.
- A:Answer Burn-in and image retention are possible on virtually any display. It is rare for an average TV consumer to create an environment that could result in burn-in. Most cases of burn-in in televisions is a result of static images or on-screen elements displaying on the screen uninterrupted for many hours or days at a time – with brightness typically at peak levels. So, it is possible to create image retention in almost any display if one really tries hard enough. And even if image retention does occur from extreme usage, it can usually be mitigated within a short period of time by turning the display off for a while, and watching a few hours of varying content (such as your standard TV watching and channel-surfing). OLED TVs have special features and settings to preserve image quality and prevent burn in and image retention. First, under OLED Screen Saver there is the Pixel Refresher that calibrates any issues that may arise on the screen when your TV has been turned on for a long time. Calibration takes more than an hour. The second feature that can be employed is the Screen Shift feature which, moves the screen slightly at regular intervals to preserve image quality. A third option is the Logo Luminance Adjustment, which can detect static logos on the screen and reduce brightness to help decrease permanent image retention. ^Daphane

Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer There are 14.528" from the bottom of the TV to the electronics box and 15.981" from the stand to the electronic box on the back of the TV. ^Daphane
