this motorola dect 6.0 system is a great system except for no answering machine.Thanks for a really good product !!!!

Even at 50 percent off the set is not a good value. We wanted to replace the set we had used for several years that only worked with one cordless. This new cordless came with 3 cordless units and were told two more could be added. Not so. The two extra cost as much as the original set and did not work with what we already had. A call to the seller was not helpful. The keyboard takes a while to get used to and the keys are too close together for most male adult fingers. The charging station design allows the hand piece to easily slip out of the base with the slightest bump and still appears to be charging when it really isn't. Dialing is slow and the beep comes after the button is pushed which is contrary to what most of us are used to. Volume setting is not sufficiently loud and the high ring tone is very hard to hear above ambient noises. Recorded incoming calls are answered by a voice from the graveyard that keeps on talking even if a phone is answered after the recorded voice starts. Very embarrassing. We have gathered up the base and 5 phones for return to the store. We thought these would be what we wanted and are very disappointed.
