3. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is only open to entrants who are: (a) legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico; and (b) at least eighteen (18) years of age (or age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is older). Winners of any Sweepstakes sponsored by Best Buy Stores, LP within the last six (6) months are not eligible to enter or win. Employees, affiliate employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, Administrator, and their advertising, promotion, fulfillment or production agencies (collectively, "Sweepstakes Entities"), as well as the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of any Sweepstakes Entity are not eligible to enter or win. "Immediate family members" shall mean spouse, mother, father, brother, sister, and children. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three (3) months a year, whether related or not. Void where prohibited by law.
4. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 AM Central Time ("CT") on August 2, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM CT on October 31, 2026 ("Sweepstakes Period"). Administrator's computer is the Sweepstakes’ official clock.
5. SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY:
You may enter the Sweepstakes in two ways: (1) if you are a My Best Buy™, My Best Buy Plus™, or My Best Buy Total™ Member you can enter through this link https://www.bestbuy.com/MyBestBuyCertSweeps (“Website”) found on Bestbuy.com. My Best Buy™ members receive one (1) entry and My Best Buy Plus™ and My Best Buy Total™ members receive four (4) entries into the Sweepstakes per day during the Sweepstakes Perioda or (2) if you are not a memberb, you may enter by sending in a business-size (#10) envelope with your handwritten name, address, email address and phone number on a 3x5 notecard to My Best Buy® Rewards $1,000 Giveaway, P.O. Box 1559, Social Circle, GA 30025-1559c. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by November 2, 2026, and received by November 9, 2026. Regardless of entry method, there is a limit of four (4) entries per person per day. For mail-in entries, the postmark date of the envelope containing the 3x5 notecard will be used to apply the entry limit. Violation of entry limit via any means may result in disqualification from Sweepstakes.
a My Best Buy™ members may receive three (3) additional entries each day by submitting a 3x5 notecard to the designated address as per entry method #2 above.
b You may become a member or upgrade your membership at any time during the Sweepstakes Period.
c A valid 3x5 notecard will result in receipt of four (4) entries. Each 3x5 notecard must be mailed separately. Mechanically reproduced 3x5 notecards will not be accepted and will not result in the receipt of entries.
6. WINNER SELECTION AND ODDS: Potential winners will be selected from among all eligible entries. The drawing will take place on or about November 10, 2026. The drawing will be conducted by Administrator, an independent judging organization/administrator, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winners will be notified by e-mail on or about November 10, 2026. Before being declared a winner, potential winners may be required to complete, sign and return within two (2) business days of date on notification an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and Indemnification, a Publicity Release where allowed by law, as well as other documents that Sponsor may require (collectively the "Prize Claim Documents"). Failure to respond to the initial notification within two (2) business days after notification, return of e-mail notification as undeliverable after two (2) attempts, or failure to return the completed and signed Prize Claim Documents within the indicated time period (if applicable) may result in disqualification, prize forfeiture and selection of an alternate potential winner from among all remaining eligible entries received. If any potential winner is disqualified, found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, declines to accept a prize, or does not provide the requested information in the allotted time, the respective prize may be forfeited. If a prize is forfeited, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner, selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries, as determined by Sponsor/Administrator in their sole discretion.
Administrator will attempt to notify each potential winner as set forth above, but Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for any delayed, corrupted or undelivered e-mails, including without limitation e-mails that are not received because of a winner’s privacy or spam filter settings which may divert any Sweepstakes e-mail, including any winner notification e-mail, to a “spam” or junk folder.
In the event of any dispute concerning the identity of any entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to enter and for My Best Buy™/My Best Buy Plus™/My Best Buy Total™ membership (for online entrants only). "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL INCOME TAXES INCURRED IN CONJUNCTION WITH ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRIZE ARE SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNERS.
8. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES ("ARV"):
Prize (Ten [10] Winners): Each Prize Winner will receive $1,000 in My Best Buy Certificates to be awarded as ten (10) $100 My Best Buy Rewards Certificates. My Best Buy promotional certificate redeemable for purchases at Best Buy, BestBuy.com or on the Best Buy mobile app. You must be a My Best Buy™ member without purchase or payment of any kind to redeem Prize. Promotional certificates have no cash value, and change will not be given for redemption. Subject to My Best Buy Terms. Certificates may be used only once. Certificate value forfeited upon return of product or service purchased with certificate. Certificates are valid until midnight (CT) on the expiration date specified. Additional limitations and exclusions may apply. ARV of each Prize: $1,000.
TOTAL ARV OF PRIZES: $10,000
Limit one (1) Prize per person, family or household. Any expenses in conjunction with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as well as any taxes are the sole responsibility of the Winners. Prizes cannot be substituted, transferred or redeemed for cash by winners. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value at its sole discretion. Only the number of each prize set forth in these Official Rules will be available to be awarded. In the event that a technical error or any other mistake, failure or discrepancy causes more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be promoted, available, noticed or claimed, Sponsor will award only the stated number of prizes. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes promotional materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail and govern.
9. CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By entering, entrants agree that Sweepstakes Entities, Meta Platforms, Inc., and their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively "Released Parties") will have no liability whatsoever, and shall be released and held harmless by entrants, for any injuries, claims, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a Prize or participation in this Sweepstakes or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity, or entrant’s failure to comply with the Official Rules. Except where legally prohibited, Winners grant (and agrees to confirm in writing) permission for the Released Parties to use such Winners' names, photograph, voice, likeness, and/or statements made by, or attributed to the Winners in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, including, without limitation, on the World Wide Web, without notice, review or approval or further compensation and in perpetuity.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING REGARDING THIS SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING THE PRIZES, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. DISPUTES: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of Entrants, Administrator, and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s or jurisdiction’s laws. By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrant agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (ii) any judicial proceeding shall take place in a federal or state court located in Minnesota; (iii) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes, but in no event will attorneys’ fees be awarded or recoverable; (iv) under no circumstances will Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to seek, punitive, incidental, exemplary, consequential, special damages, lost profits, other damages, and/or any rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased; and (v) Entrant’s remedies are limited to a claim for money damages (if any) and he/she waives any right to seek injunctive or equitable relief.
