One of the few best 3D platformers on Xbox One
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.New Super Lucky’s Tale is reminiscent of the 3D collect-athon platformers of yore and the newest in the now series. Unlike some more egregious titles that overdid the collecting aspect, this tale is simpler and more accessible to younger and casual gamers. Lucky is easy to control with his limited but effective moveset. He can run, jump, and double jump. He attacks enemies by swiping his tail or pounding the ground. My favorite move is his burrow ability, which allows him to dig underground to run under low gates, collect goodies, and solve puzzles. There aren’t any power-ups, though, so this is the extent of Lucky’s moves. The question of progression is one that rears its head once more. Lucky has his moves from the outset, and doesn’t learn any new skills throughout the entire adventure. With his combination of running, jumping, digging, and tail-spinning, there is enough choice, but it never elevates beyond this. That's not a bad thing just something I noticed about the game. Fans of the original are in for a treat and for those that haven't tried it yet, I'd highly recommend it.

A superb platformer, with an N64 feel to it
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed.A very fun homage to 3d platforming games with plenty of worlds to explore & unique levels to complete. Played the original game before the enhanced version came out. I have yet to play the DLC but very much recommend this game.

New & Improved
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I remember playing the original version of Lucky's Tale a few years ago and it was very nostalgia because it reminded me of the likes of Banjo Kazooie and Spryo the Dragon. I had great fun and would easily recommend it to anyone. This new version is everything that made the original great, with added content, game mechanics, and an overall richer experience. I got it at a steal and would certainly recommend it to a friend.

Banjo and Lucky
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This game is awesome it’s pretty much banjo but you’re a fox so pretty much you’re just going through levels and collecting stuff but that’s OK if you’re into those kind of games two thumbs up

A very fun kids collectathon
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed.New Super Lucky's Tale is a fun collectathon platformer that reminds me a lot of classics from the N64 days like Banjo-Kazooie or Mario 64. The theme is fun and kid-friendly, but I enjoyed it as an adult as well. Recommended!

Excellent, clean fun
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Excellent fun 3D platformer. Wanted a game I could play with my 8-year-old and it didn’t disappoint. In fact, I play it myself when she isn’t around.
