OtterBox - Preserver Series Case for Samsung Galaxy S4 - Carbon

Maybe our hopes were too high. But this case was a real disappointment. The plugs on the case make calls echo which is really annoying. So we took them out negating its water proof rating. The cover over the receiver also makes listening to people talk sound very poor. But this fixed itself as the mesh screen fell off on its own. Also, because of the screen protector that's fixed to he case. The phone can no longer sense when its close to or away from your head. We now have to hit the center button to making the screen come back on. While we are using the phone. Last but not least. We seem to be having reception problems now that the case is on. Not sure if the case is impeding the phones antenna or not. Its just not having as strong of a signal is the phone once did.

This case is the second one we have had. The part that keeps your charging port clean keeps ripping off. Kinda changes the waterproofing of the product..

The case seems very durable. It provides great protection. The built-in screen protector is good, no rainbow effect. But there are a couple of negatives: The volume and power buttons are hard to push. The foil grills for the speakers/microphone are an epic fail. The foil is flimsy and starts to sag, causing noise distortion.

purchased it for myself didn't like it was very hard to use my phone the buttons were hard to push and I had to hard of a time trying to hear what the other person was saying it had an echo sound so I bought it one day 3 days later took it off. don't recommend

The case is nice and sturdy as expected, but I get complains all the time that people cannot hear me so I had to take off the piece that covers the charger plugin, which seems to help most of the time

This case was a piece of junk. I've only used it for about one month. It has already started falling apart. The screens that cover each hole have fallen off. The plastic that covers the headphone plug has also fallen off. Glad it was on clearance when I bought this because it would not be worth it to pay full price.
