We love the talking feature, because we screen our calls. There probably is an easier way to transfer phone book #'s from the old phone to the new. My wife transfered over 100 #''s manualy, MAYBE if you bring the old phone & new phone to BestBuy they can do the transfer of #'s electronically (mis-spelled). Especially if your old phone is a Panasonic. We have never had a problem with Panasonic. If you are reading this, thank a Vet.

My last phone was a Panasonic and it lasted for about 10 years. My only reason for replacing it was the battery ran down and I couldn't find replacements for them. My mom has this phone and is very happy with it. The price was great and it was delivered to the door free of charge. If you want to keep your phones for a long time, Panasonic has proven to be the one!

Replaced exact 3 handset with answering machine cordless phone due to lighting damage. Phone set up it different so I'm still learning and could not retrieve voice mail. Had to call AT&T to make changes. The phone would not except the old pass code. Other than that the phone was changed by adding a piece of rubber for cradling the phone in place so it will not drop. I still use the speaker function which is better than it was. And the price was lower... Yea me.

For the money a reasonable buy. internet purchase easy, shipped to house for free under the daily Best Buy deal e-mail program.
