Yeah they got a one time replacement with the controller that comes with the console.

They have a replacement plan. I paid approximately $80.00 for two years. They plan is.....Jump through hoops, and mail it out. What do I use while they're fixing my controller (drifting.)
I know.....spend $75.00 for another controller.
Should have been an in-store exchange. I'll contact Sony, see what they say. Huge thumbs down, along with a middle finger. After all, you just gave me one....Thanks

They want you to schedule an appointment with a Geek Squad member to evaluate the controller and see if it can be repaired or replaced, they refused to just exchange it.

Yes, I had the same issue where the C port was broken, and Best Buy swap it out with a new one.
