“If a joycon has drift and there is still a warranty on the Switch, how will replacing or fixing it work? Would we get a replacement joycon or would you fix it? Would there also be a possibility of switching out for a new switch completely?”

Today I called for the same exact reason. I called 1-866-933-5552 it’s the parts dept. I told them the problem an that I still had coverage an they asked me which color joy cons I wanted from what they had available. An then to my surprise I asked if these were new or refurbished an they said brand new. No need to send old ones an also have 30 days to return if same thing happens. Hope this helps.
