As long as you are within the 15 day return/exchange period yes, also if you are an elite you get 30 days to return/exchange and elite plus 45 days to return/exchange. I had an elite series 2 with a faulty A button in the first 2 weeks and exchanged it, when I did my gsquad warranty carried to the new one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So as someone that has done this multiple times because the elite controller is amazing when it works, and terrible waste of money when it doesn’t… every time you go to geek squad and replace the controller you need to buy another geek squad protection at that moment. It’s about $63 or so. Trust me. You need to buy it again, because if you don’t you won’t be able to replace the controller again. You will have to buy a whole other controller and put geek squad on that. Had a replacement, and a new employee told me it carried over… it does not. Haha cannot stress that enough.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You just return the item since it's still under return period and your original warranty will also be refunded

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can change under warranty but might have to pay for the warranty again for 2 more years or might get some money back in a gift card depending if the warranty still available
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. If you get a product replaced within the original return period than the warranty is not used and will restart and be put on the new product.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can return for 14 days and your coverage can carry over to new controller. If after that time your warranty will cover that controller but will need to purchase new warty on the new controller they give you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can purchase a protection plan for the new one.

My warranty expired 2 monthas ago but i was able place a repair on it. Xbox is weird all in all i get a different controller elites problems always
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can actually return it back to Microsoft, for a return shipping fee of $20, as I have had to do before or you can return it BB and they replace it for free. If you would have returned it within the return window Replacement Plan would have carried over but since you have had it for longer than a week and just now noticing button it may not carry over but you can get a new controller for free or pay a small fee of $20 for another 2 yr plan. It’s a Win, Win.
