Unfortunately it’s only a total of 2 years. Geek squad covers the first and second year. The benefits are that geek squad will most of the time cover more areas than manufacturers warranty. Best thing to do is do your research on what is and isn’t covered through manufactured warranty and even check out what extended warranty is available through the manufacture

No the manufacturer warranty is 1 year and the store brought is 2 years they both start at the time of purchase. You have to remember to renew on the ending date best buy will sometimes send a expiration reminder email but I would not depend solely on it

The thing is the manufacturer warranty if something happened you have to contact to the company that fabric it, and that could be a headache but when you put the warranty with a company warranty they take care of it to replacement or fix

No, the warranty year and the first year of the protection plan runs at the same time, that means you have 2 years of protection not 3. This is because accidental plans covers any damage and the manufacturer warranties dont.
