“I lost my H5 Session due to fire damage in the Tubbs fires up here in Sonoma County, CA & was wondering if fire damage is covered in the 3 year protection plan & if I will need to sift through whats left of my house to find the melted cam for replacement?”

Best bet would be your home owners insurance will replace it and the protection plan would still apply to the new replacement camera if it is the same model. If it got burnt in a place where home owners insurance does not cover it then I would find the melted part or something that you think could be it and bring that in for repair. They will likely issue you a new one instead of repair but then your accidental plan would be fulfilled so I say go with Home owners and keep the accidental plan on going. Good luck!
