If I purchase a Geek Squad 2 or 4 year warranty won't the manufacturer's warranty be for the first year and then the Geek Squad warranty would then kick in? I don't understand how this Geek Squad warranty would work. null

My understanding of the extended warranty and the manufacturer's warranty is as follows. In the first year of ownership, both warranties are in effect. In years two through four, the Geek Squad 4 warranty would continue to be in effect. Nick

No . When you purchase the protection plan it start the Same day with the manufacturer warranty they all start together it does not make sense but that is what they do
