• I know they have 4 year protection plans which is plenty seeing how if the tv has a problem its probably going to be with in 4 years.

• I have no idea. There's the manufacturers coverage and then the Best Buy program. Best Buy is 5 yrs from date of purchase so their exposure is... what, another 2 or 3 yrs?
