“VIZIO Sound Bar M512A-H6 Soundbar Changes inputs when starting show or movie. Sound will stop working till input is changed back to HDMI IN. Can I exchange for soundbar that doesnt have this issue. Have googled and cannot find a fix.”

if is still in Vzio warranty period call them. if they send a new unit call Ggeek Squad and have them update serial numbers. My JBL was 11 months old and they sent me a new one. Called the GS and transferred serial numbers. Your unit just may need a setting change on the source though
