A:AnswerNo, the 1 year manufacturer warranty only covers manufacture defects. The protection plan covers pretty much everything EXCEPT accidental damage. If you had it installed by geek squad you can file a claim and have it repaired, however if you did the install outside of geek squad it is not covered.
A:AnswerIf you are just wanting to get them to come out and set up the tv for you I believe it is $150 and if you want it mounted it is $200 plus you have to buy the mount. The protection plan does not include setting up your tv.

My roku 58 was replaced after 1.5 years with a hisense android 55 and my warranty ended. They never have the parts to fix the tvs and you just end up with a new one.
