I could not find a manual, either. I wrote to INSIGNIA just today, so no response yet. In my research, I did learn that this model is Discontinued :-(

Yes it has USB drive, however I don't know the formats. The Manual is Online www.insigniaproducts.com, However it comes with a large fold out Guide with great pictures to set up. The Manual online should answer your questions about the USB drive formats.
