Hi Malcolm- It's great to hear from you! Thanks for continuing to make GE Appliances a part of your home. Microwave built-in trim kits are not interchangeable. A trim kit consists of the trim frame, as well as an upper, lower, and rear duct that attaches to and encases the microwave inside the cabinet cut-out. It is important to only use the trim kit designed for that model. The comparable model is our GE Profile™ Series 2.2 Cu. Ft. Built-In Sensor Microwave Oven PEB7227SLSS (Gray) or PEB7227DLBB (Black). It is compatible with GE® Optional 27" Built-In Trim Kit JX7227SLSS and GE® Optional 30" Built-In Trim Kit JX7230SLSS.
