- Answer I recommend using a CD or DVD and keep your personal data/files on it and not on your hard drive. Most computers include a keyboard and mouse with a new desktop purchase.

- Answer Hi there. Thanks for this great question. Underneath the Accidental Geek Squad Protection offered with the desktop, you would be covered for the damage, absolutely. The only part of that which could be an issue is data. If the unit is damaged enough, you want to make sure your data is backed up. I hope this helped. - Answer I returned mines cause of a faulty GPU, forgot to put keyboard and mouse in box, best buy ordered me a new trace941 and I got brand new keyboard and mouse, with brand new pc. Keep in mind each pc comes with diff specs/ items

QuestionHow do you set up the minimum monthly payments at checkout? I tried asking via a Geek Squad customer service chat, but it was extremely unhelpful. They took forever to respond only to tell me to physically go to Best Buy to get help for it.

- Answer Hi there. Thank you for your great question! I'm sorry you weren't able to get help on that right away. If you're referring to your Best Buy credit credit, you would need too spend above $199 on a purchase to be eligible for the 6 month financing. This way you could split it up into easy payments. If your purchase was larger or included certain items, it may be eligible for a 12 month, 18 month or 24 month financing. Basically, if you're allowed to do it, it would prompt you for an online order. If you would like some help with this, you can either reach out to your local Best Buy store or contact us at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778.
