If you connect an HDMI splitter between your laptop and your monitors, then you will have two displays of the exact same thing. Depending on your video card you might be able to expand your display area to span the distance between two displays, but what you really need is a different video card, one with two HDMI outputs. Most likely your laptop does not support such an upgrade.
