• no this does not cause any problem with L A G at all this is a very solid little unit I thought it was a little overpriced but you just can't seem to find them. the connection is very solid and I liked it. hope this helps

• I haven't experienced any lag. I have had my Xbox 360 hooked up to a projector and TV at the same time. No lag issues. They both display at the same time.
