Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You could try in buy a wireless mouse then proceed to see if your mouse needs a driver update. If not the only solution is to factory reset your whole pc but to back up everything. If you do not like that solution then call your service advisor

So first, make sure that wasn't hit because in some cases, it's really easy to accidentally touch that. Other than that, it could be a software issue. It's really hard to say without seeing the laptop and knowing the model.
