Unfortunately, the update wiped out all his apps & games; he will need to re-upload everything again. On the next update the Acer computer sends you, do not accept it; hit "no" or "remind me later". In the computer settings, there is an option to turn this off. Sorry, you will need to search for that; I don't know where to find it - as every computer is different. I hope this helps.
