Hi Adie. Thanks for the great question! Whenever you do an exchange with your Geek Squad Protection, it actually uses it up. So more than likely, you purchased a new protection plan for the replacement headset. So, if this were to happen again, it would utilize the new plan. I hope this makes sense!
