If you don't, I'd still recommend connecting with your local Best Buy and we'll see what we can do to get you up and running, either with a replacement or fixing your current one. If you've got the batteries in correctly, then just return it...the instruction manual is so cryptic you'll never solve the problem reading it, and Geek Squad support will treat you like an idiot for even asking.
