“Does Ring Doorbell 3Plus HAS to be installed by Geek Squad to cover the protection plan. Or it does not matter who installed the Doorbell but the protection plan covers the replacement/ repair of Doorbell at home. Please clarify. Thanks.”

Please try again later.Unless there is a special stipulation in the contracts of the BB/GS warranty that specifies they have to be the ones to perform the installation then I would say “no”. Personally, I have bought a full setup computer for my son with the BB warranty. They offered to set it up and I denied the setup because I was going to teach my son how to connect everything up and then what to do when you first boot a new computer from all licenses and registrations you go through the items you do and don’t need to signup for, peripheral devices, networking, antivirus and the list goes on and on. The BB/GS guys will help you through all these steps as well. Just because I said “no” to setup doesn’t void my warranty. I hope this helps and it’s ok to ask a sales rep not at the GS desk.
