No you have to purchase a new unit and wait to be refunded which can take 6-8 weeks!

I bought a 2 year plan on a smart watch that I bought for my wife, near the end of the 2 years the watch started acting up so I took it to the store to see if they could fix it, they gave me credit for the full price that I originally paid so I could get a new one or purchase anything else I want from the store, which was very nice. So I think unless it's a simple fix they usually give you store credit for the full amount, that was my experience at least.
