Space at the bottom of the TV What is the space between the bottom of the TV and the table (or whatever it sits on)? I would like to have my dvd player sitting underneath the TV set but not sure how high the legs are and how much space is underneath the TV. Thanks.

About 3 inches. Just enough for DVD to slide under

I used a tape measure.The distance from the bottom of the TV( when it is on the TV stand) to the stand(where your TV in on it) is 2 inches.So if your dvd player's height is like 1 inch and half, then it will fit good, but if it is like 3 inches , it will not fit under the bottom of the TV.

The TV does not have space underneath the legs to accomodate the DVD

I just returned mine because of 9 defects. But I'll guess about 2" or less. Could just put two books under the feet. Or get a quality TV that works. Also you would not want something emitting light that close to the screen. AND it most likely with distort the picture do to magnetic field. Like putting a speaker next to a TV is a no no.
