A:AnswerBest Buy was losing too much money on these installations mostly through people who were abusing the service, having multiple TVs installed at commercial sites like bars and restaurants, etc. But instead of modifying the program the simply removed this benefit/service from their Total program which is unfortunate. They should have been more creative here and done something like limit the number of TV installations per customer per year to two or something. Or, instead of making it free why not discount the installation price by 50% for Total members? Because of these and other changes I'm finding the Total membership less and less valuable each year and likely to cancel at my next renewal.
A:AnswerNobody really fixes TVs anymore. It would cost you more to have it fixed (if you can find someone) than to buy a new one; they're a lot better and cheaper than they were 10 years ago anyway. I just trashed my 20-year-old 45" LED Phillips that finally stopped working, and got a gorgeous huge OLED for about what I originally paid for the old one. Cheers and good luck!
A:AnswerThey told me if there were any issues with the installation, height, or something else to call them back free of charge. There is a time limit. Call and work with them or better yet go to the store, they want. their customers happy.
A:AnswerI had to check my TV accessories and it was included but I wouldn’t assume and have one on hand. I returned all my extras like 12’ cord and wire hiding piping kit. The wire was so small it was hardly noticeable on my brand.
A:AnswerYes, it can be done and yes there is an additional cost. Use the online form to set up the install and a drop box will show you the additional cost (dry wall mount or stone/brick mount)
A:AnswerDEPENDS ON HOW FAR SPEAKERS ARE FROM YOUR CURRENT TV IF ITS RIGHT BESIDE THAN OF COURSE YOU WILL, BIGGER TV TAKES MORE SPACE. TV MAY TAKE UP SPACE WHERE SPEAKERS ARE. WHETHER TV ON STAND OR WALL...ITS A BIGGER TV AN WILL B LONGER
A:AnswerYou've GOT to mount it to the wood studs under the drywall, NOT the drywall itself. Otherwise you WILL have a disaster on your hands at some point, even if you manage to get it to stay up there for now. If your house is less than 50 years old, the studs should be reliably 18" apart. Get yourself a stud finder at Home Depot or whatever; they're inexpensive and will help you locate where to screw in your mounting plate. If the mount doesn't reach the studs on each side, you can put up a piece of plywood, screw IT into the studs as securely as you can, and then screw the mount into the plywood.
A:AnswerWell you could owe your own mount but what was done for me was my mount was not the right size so for the i need something different they had it in their truck so no worry Excellent ffor being a member of best buy queek squad
A:AnswerI moved from a 60" plasma to a new 65" QLED. The connections nowadays are more near the bottom of the back versus the middle or top, so the position of the connectors on the wall now may work just fine.
