A:Answerdepends if the mount you have currently on the wall is max size 55" tvs or is a mount that will hold 55 - 70" tvs. all depends on the max size tv that your current mount will hold if it can be reused or not.

A:AnswerYou need to hire an electrician to wire up a new outlet. They will make a hole in the wall to run the cables in the wall so they will not be seen but do not run new electrical wires for new power outlets
A:AnswerYou need to purchase a wall mount for the specific tv or one that covers a variety of tvs and a bracket(s) will be included for the tv to be put on the mount. Geek Squad does not provide brackets
A:AnswerI am in this same situation. My understanding so far from research is the soundbar is an extra install. The Geek Squad called last night and said as much. BTW, he was EXTREMELY rude and impatient when I asked that question.
A:AnswerThey will charge for 2 mountings but if u buy the geek squad membership it only cost 50 dollars per mounting it was worth it as they have alot of service that they perform for only 50 buck
A:AnswerWas told $199 Geek Squad installation and connect would take down my old TV and disconnect current set up and put up my new (65 inch Sony)TV and reconnect to my original set up which included a Sony sound bar ( which was connected to a 50 inch HDTV).
Install ion right onto my original mount was easy and took only a short time but Geek Squad could not properly connect new TV to sound bar. They left saying it is not connecting now because tv is updating. They said after updating it should connect successfully. It did not. Tried calling Geek Squad to assist on tech support- but agent said all I paid for was installation and if I need additional help to connect I would have to pay another $49.99. I already paid $199 and I wasn’t about to give them more money
A:AnswerYou can, but If it's bigger than 50 inches I would not recommend it. If you use a mount that's too small you will regret it if you try to add anything later. ie Amazon stick.
A:AnswerTypically they try to find the studs and install the bolts in the studs as this is the best, but if they cannot, they have bolt mounting brackets. They will hold 100lbs but normally they work well in drywall but with plaster, esp the older horsehair plaster, bolt mounts tend to rip out of the walls very easy. I have run into this before. They don't hold bolts or weight very well. Would probably be best to find out how far apart your studs are apart(normally 16" apart) using a stud finder and make sure you get a tv mount that will allow for mounting into the stud directly and bypassing the plaster mounting which normally does not fare very well.
A:AnswerGet the Geek Squad service contract and the installation will only cost $50. You get more than just two people to put a TV on a desktop with the Geek Squad. You get a lesson about your TV and insurance that everything works.
A:AnswerThey absolutely will, let them do it, I was very pleased with the in home installation service thru Geek Squad, they are very polite, professional and expedient. they took the time to show me which buttons do what, no hassle, no fuss and most of all - no frustration!
