My tuner is a HDHomeRun, quad tuner. I have a dedicated computer running Ubuntu server, hosting the Plex media server in my home. It supports - and will record - up to 4 shows at once. Keep in mind, though, that it only supports 4 concurrent channels. If you want to watch live TV while it's recording, you'll need to reserve an open space. TLDR: yes, but use with caution.
