240W cable with 240W adapter will charge faster; I assume your device needs charging around 100W or lower (e.g. 65W). However, speed depends more on your battery's ability/speed to charge up (absorb the power) and adapter power (the higher the better). If your device's charging needs 140W or 170W, 100W cable and 100W charger adapter can't handle it; it will either charge it super slowly or won't charge it at all.

This depends on the device you're charging, and the power supply this is connected to. Both of those have to support 240 watts to see any benefit from this cable. It has the potential to charge 2.4x faster than a 100w cable in a device that supports 240w charging. But even if you don't have any 240w devices its nice to know that your cable will not cause problems no matter what generation of USB device you might use it with in the future.

Didn’t time it but theoretically they should be the same with the 240w rated cable being able to juice up devices that can take advantage of it of course (which theoretically should make them charge faster).

Depend on what you are using it if you don’t care ab data transfer and use it only for charging you will be ok with 100w cuz it’s still strong enough to charge computer while using it!

It will depend on what your device and charger also support.  If you have a 100w charger and your device only supports 100w, then 100w will be all you get.

Unless your device supports charging at greater than 100W, there is no charging speed difference. The benefit of this cable is that it has full support for devices between 100W and 240W.
