• Funny. First time I tried to took a minute. Just have to be firm when you pull it out. If doesn't come out you should return it and get it replaced.

• My plug had a hole after a few weeks of use. It is very difficult to get out. I tried contacting [email protected] to get a replacement and got the run around. I don’t have the time or inclination to keep sending them information about a part failure when the ice maker was still returnable. I took it back to the store.
