You can, but the image won't be as sharp in the non-native resolutions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am able to switch the monitor from my computer input on the display port which is 4K to my cable TV using HDMI input which is 1080p. There is no remote so you have to press buttons on the monitor for switching. I haven't tried dynamically switching my computer from one resolution to another on the same input port. I have an intermediate problem where the Microsoft DOS screen doesn't display on boot up. I have been using my previous monitor for monitoring the bootup cycle. I think this is a common problem with 4K monitors which appears to have a documented solution on Microsoft sites. I haven't had time to fix this inconvenience yet.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In Windows, select display settings by right clicking anywhere on your desktop, select your monitor and choose Advanced Display Settings and you can toggle and adjust resolutions from 800x600 all the way up to 3840x2048 on the Acer. There's no manual toggle on the display, so it may also depend on your graphics card on the machine you are using.
