Absoultly. Its almost a requirement. The 1080 ti is what I will be using here shortly.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using GTX 1070 8GB Geforce PNY overclocked version. On CB281HK 4k Acer I use display port for 60Hz as HDMI is 30Hz. Can’t use g-sync on this monitor. For 4k gaming I would not get anything slower than this card, would be better on g-sync monitor. Or you could wait out for nice 144Hz+ g-sync monitor and GTX-1080 Ti. MS Office Pro 2010 is fantastic in 4k. So for this monitor the GTX 1070 on sale is a good deal and it is VR ready.
