Yes. It has holes to mount a VESA stand. In fact, I have two of these monitors with two such stands so I can turn them to portrait mode as needed. (You could also mount your monitor on a stand attached to the wall if you didn't want it on your desk.

Yes. You can use a computer stand with a VESA desk or wall mount to screw into the back. I needed both my monitors to rotate, so I bought two that allow me to move them from vertical to horizontal as needed.
