I just bought one the other day. I cloned the 512g preinstalled and went to 4tb and it immediately recognized it with no problem. I then added an additional 4tb SSD in the extra slot and also no problems at all. So I have 8tb's all together in mine and it's fine. Also, in case anyone wants to know. It will accept 64gb of ram also. With a quick command prompt I checked max ram capacity and it came back with a little over 67gb max capacity. I don't know why these computer companies never tell the truth on that. I seen that an Acer team member answered 32gb is the max, and only 1tb SSD in each slot. So you can go well beyond that with no problem. The strange thing is that the main drive is gen 4 NVME and the open slot is only gen 3. Not a big deal except that games put on the extra drive may not run as fast as on the main "C" drive. I just put a fast gen 4 SSD in the gen 3 spot and it still runs fine but only at half the speed. Still plenty fast enough.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Adding more information: another reason for the max RAM discrepancy could be that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs only support up to 32GB, so going to 64GB may not be worth it.

Also, I don't think computer companies are lying when they state maximum RAM or SSD sizes. More likely, a "package" (motherboard, CPU, etc.) is designed to reach certain, minimum, specs, and often the computer will exceed them. Not a problem, and even a plus. But if the company stated specs that were not met, they would legally be on the hook for these. Thus, they choose the conservative value.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Uncertain, just wanted to say it supports a single m.2 nvme expansion slot. I bet you could easily upgrade to a 2Tib drive, I imagine the OS becomes the problem before the hardware (my guess at around the 10's of TiB)
