Can this monitor do 120hz over HDMI for PS5? null

Yup it does 120 fps at 1080 and 60 fps for 4K. It is a very good monitor for Xbox series x and ps5

Image quality is pretty good and the HDR is nice

The monitor can do 4k upscaled at 60fps and 1080p at 120hz - this is tested and verified. The monitor has HDMI 2.0 which supports these options, the Display Port is 1.4.

The rating of the HDMI is 1.4 which is sufficient to run 1920x1080@144 Hz . HDMI 2.1 is only required for the 144 Hz if you are running 4K, which this monitor does not support anyway. So monitor should meet needs for either the PS5, X Box, or any computer running these resolutions. Since PS5 does not currently fully support FreeSync, but may in the future.

So if I buy an Hdmi 2.1 cable will this monitor display 120 hertz with the new xbox series s? Does this not support HDMI 2.1 all together? Also, what is the response time with this monitor as it doesn't mention it.

I'm probably a bit late to answer this, but I do not believe this monitor can support 1080p@120Hz over HDMI. This would require HDMI 2.1 which is not included in this monitor. It can support 1080p@144Hz over DisplayPort, but the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S do not support DisplayPort. You will be stuck with 1080p@60Hz if you were to plug a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S into this monitor.

Yup it does 120 fps at 1080 and 60 fps for 4K. It is a very good monitor for Xbox series x and ps5
