• Never used it but the official website says yes it can be used to charge your laptop just make sure the AC adapter is the proper wattage.

• The included AC adapter is recommended for charging the laptop itself. The Thunderbolt port delivers up to 3A at 5V up to max 15W DC for USB charging and supports power delivery for charging (up to 20V/3.25A).
